Overview of COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser:
I decided to purchase this COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser, particularly because I was curious about the “Low pH” part and what it would do for my skin. And since I have finished my cleanser from Skinfood Carrot Carotene Balancing Cleansing Foam. I thought it would be the time to try it. I really have high expectations for it. Since COSRX has been one of my favorite K-Beauty brands in past two years.

Packaging:
This cleanser like most COSRX cleansers comes in a white plastic tube. The Logo here comes with a blue background and yellow front, which is what the brand does with its items. It has two different colors that differentiate it from others, which is pretty cool. The bottle holds 150mL of product. The back has detailed information. The Cap is kinda leaky which i did not like much.
Features:
COSRX Low pH is a clear gel with a light texture, that foams up slightly. It has a calm tea tree scent, nothing too aggressive. which stays for a long even after washing it off. It is used like any other gel cleanser. What makes this different is its Low pH holy grail idea. It balances the pH of the skin out so that it won’t disturb the skin barrier and its healthy microbiomes. It is suitable for people with oily or combo skin, dry skin not so much.
Ingredients:
It is paraben-free, and mineral oil-free and the scent comes from the leaf items.. the overall ingredients are good enough for a cleanser, considering you wash it off.
Water, cocamidopropyl betaine, sodium lauroyl methyl isethionate, sodium chloride, polysorbate 20, styrax japo- nicus branch/fruit/leaf extract, butylene glycol, saccharomyces ferment, cryptomeria japonica leaf extract, nelumbo nucifera leaf extract, pinus palustris leaf extract, ulmus davidiana root extract, oenothera biennis (evening primrose) flower extract, pue- raria lobata root extract, melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) leaf oil, allantoin, caprylyl glycol, ethylhexylglycerin, betaine salicylate, citric acid, ethyl hexanediol, 1,2-hexanediol, trisodium ethylenediamine disuccinate, sodium benzoate, disodium edta.
My overall opinion:
After finishing up COSRX low pH cleanser, I can confidently say I really liked this gel cleanser. Since I have an itchy skin and this cleanser kinda calmed it down. I can’t tell if it is due to the Low pH COSRX formula, or something else from the ingredients. It leaves the skin smooth and tight afterwards, so I would not recommend it for dry skin. Because it might be too stripping.
Will I use it again? No. because even though it is really good I just can’t resist trying other products (a skincare maniac thingy). But would I recommend it to my small circle of people, defo! Click here if you wanna give it a try!
